Ornamental Sculpture in Steel with Natural Stone Base

Ornamental Metalwork, Blades & Jewelry

Tilaru Metalsmithing produces custom order, unique hand-forged ornamental / architectural ironwork. This can be anything from a small pedestrian gate to hundreds of feet of rail for a fence or indoor railing, a piece of furniture, a sculpture, basically anything you can think of. We mainly work in steel, aluminum and bronze. To learn more about our ornamental metalwork, also known as wrought iron work, and browse our photo gallery of completed projects click on Ornamental Metalwork Portfolio.

We also create one-of-a-kind hand forged knives and swords from 5160, 1095, and L-6 steel, as well as making our own pattern weld and wire weld damascus. We sculpt, fabricate, cast or forge all of our guards and pommels as well as using the finest hardwoods, stones, bones and metals we can find for the handles. You can view some of our finished blades in our Blade Portfolio.

Tilaru Metalsmithing produces the occasional jewelry item as well - mainly in gold and / or silver, as well as creating our own Mokume Gane. The Jewelry Portfolio contains pictures of some of our completed jewelry items.

If it can be made from metal - precious, semi-precious, or other types of metal - we can make it! Our Artist, has multiple years of experience working for major Ornamental / Architectural Iron Work companies, Master Goldsmiths, and Master Bladesmiths.
